Slip rings for power, signal and USB data transmission

In modern commercial and industrial environments, many machines and devices communicate via industrial networks. One of the most used connection types of all times is the standard USB port. To provide a fast and reliable solution for these connections, we have developed our hybrid USB + electrical slip ring solution.

The hybrid USB slip rings can contain 1 or 2 USB lines with USB1.0 or USB2.0 connectors on both sides (USB3.0 on request).

In addition to the USB lines, the customer can choose between max. 16 power lines (max. 10A or 20A) or up to 36 signal lines (max. 2A or 5A). The housing is made of robust aluminium and is available in encapsulated or hollow shaft versions.

Hybrid slip rings for electrical transmission combine the most advanced fibre brush technology with silver-to-silver or gold-to-gold multi-contacts.

They offer low electrical noise for fieldbus transmission at high data rates, low contact pressure for long life and are maintenance-free.
